Worked examples
Follow the tool calls from a first read to a buyer-approved action.
These are synthetic examples, checked against the source input and output validators. They are not recorded transactions or evidence of provider acceptance. Use your own test records and fresh server-returned IDs; the example addresses, URLs, keys and timestamps are placeholders.
Requests below are MCP tools/call messages sent after the client initializes and completes OAuth. Responses show the validated structuredContent payload; these tools also return it as JSON in a text content block. Inspect isError before consuming a response.
Read the connected account
Complete OAuth with workspace:read and let the MCP client initialize and discover tools. This read takes an empty object.

Save the buyer’s chosen home
After the buyer asks to save a supported listing, call import_listing and use its returned listingId. This fixture assumes that import has already succeeded. Obtain workspace:write through consent and generate a fresh UUID for this save.

Use the saved workspaceId. If it is unavailable, use list_workspaces to find the buyer’s home and resolve any ambiguity before continuing. This read needs workspace:read.

Only continue when the buyer asks to prepare an offer. Use the imported listingId, workspace:write and a new UUID for this distinct operation. A save request alone is not offer intent.

Prepare an exact email for review
Use a test workspace with a saved, controlled recipient and an existing unsent draft. Read get_transaction_email_draft for its current draftRevisionId. Preparing and sending require communications:send. This example is a simple question with no attachments; offer delivery must use the sealed packet from create_offer_delivery_draft.

Resume after an interrupted signature
After the buyer returns from the secure signing page, read this tool with workspace:read. This scenario has confirmed terms and a primary signature, with a co-buyer still to sign.

Re-read once the remaining signature is saved
After the co-buyer completes the actual signing ceremony and the buyer replies, call the same read again. Do not synthesize this success state locally.

Exercise failures too
Use the reviewer scenarios to verify declined approval, stale revisions, revoked access and uncertain outcomes. Never convert a failed or incomplete result into a success response.
